Watercolor "The Hamlet in the Countryside" signed lower left Pelletier. French School. 48 X 32 cm. Joseph Laurent Pelletier (1811-1892) participated in the Salon, then was, from 1852, a drawing professor at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Metz. He ended his teaching career in Paris. The Mulhouse Museum holds two watercolors by him. Unframed. Good condition.
