The reclining reader. Marcel Cosson is a French Post-Impressionist painter. Born in 1878 in Bordeaux. Died in 1956 in Paris. He exhibited first at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, of which he became a member, honorable mention in 1901, third medal in. 1911, then at the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts and that of the Tuileries Oil on canvas, signed lower right.
