Benner Emmanuel-Michel, (1873-1965) known as Many, so that he is not confused with his uncle Emmanuel Benner. Second Grand Prix de Rome in 1894 and 1898, student of Jean Jacques Henner, Benjamin Constant and Lefebvre. He exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français, at the Maison d'Art Alsacienne in Strasbourg, at the Galerie Aktuarius and at the Société des Amis des Arts de Mulhouse. He represents the fourth generation of a dynasty of artists who have left their mark on the fine arts in France and Alsace. He was named Knight of the Legion of Honor. Works presented in numerous museums.
