Pair of large and substantial Louis XV style armchairs with flat backs called "à la Reine" in walnut. Richly carved with motifs of staples, acanthus leaves and shells, the legs are arched. Very beautiful Parisian work from the end of the Second Empire Beautiful and fine sculpture, ample and comfortable model decorated with a tapestry with two perfect motifs for a more exotic decor. These armchairs are reupholstered with yellow damask silk for the back and Genoa velvet for the seat. No traces of wood-eating insects. Very good general condition!
