19th Century Scientific Instrument, Microscope Laboratory Lamp

A beautiful old scientific object, a laboratory or microscope lamp consisting of a kerosene lamp at the bottom, topped by a cylindrical chamber and chimney, the chamber pierced by two vertical rectangular “windows” fitted with translucent glass, one milky white, the other blue.
On the other side, a movable arm supports a two-lens focal lens, concave and convex (with a damaged concave side); the cylindrical chamber can be inverted so that either white or blue glass can be presented behind the lens.
On the side, a square tube set into a larger square with a spring-loaded lever seems designed to release a sliding movement along the longer tube.
