Large bookcase or display case in rosewood and satinwood marquetry. Model with offset uprights in the style of Riesener, it opens with 3 doors (fitted with their old blown glass panes), keyholes in chiseled and gilded bronze. White Carrara marble top molded with cavetto (added). Early Louis XVI period, circa 1780. Pretty piece of furniture, neither too big nor too small, very practical due to its shallow depth. It is both a bookcase for precious books, a display case for displaying collectibles, porcelain, silverware or even a dining room buffet. Our piece of furniture is in very good condition.
