Jesus is represented in Salvatore Mundi, holding the orb in one hand and blessing with the other.
The silk thread embroidery is executed on laid paper, the stitches covering the front and back, so that the embroidery is double-sided, with inversion of the representation.
The faces, arms and foot of the baby Jesus are gouache. This is probably a stencil technique to have exactly the same pattern on both sides.
The whole is set in an old double-sided gilded wooden frame.
Condition: the embroidery and the gouache elements are in good condition, without alteration.
The paper on the outside of the medallion formed by the embroidery has a small tear across it and on the side where St Anthony holds the lily in his left hand, a small stain in the bottom right corner.
All this is visible in the photos.
