"Louis XIV Style Fireplace Screen"
Fireplace screen in gilded and carved wood. The frame is decorated with carved sheaths of capitals. Openwork pediment and base, carved with shells and foliage. Base with leafy scrolls decorated with a fine tapestry panel representing a mythological scene surrounded by numerous fruits, flowers and foliage. On the back, a silk (some snags) Louis XIV style, 19th century.
