"Contraction of the "house of Lucas" in Breton, Ker ar Lucas, the Keraluc earthenware factory was founded by Victor Lucas in 1946. The engineer, from the national ceramics school of Sèvres, spent eighteen years at Henriot and four years at HB. In the midst of the Reconstruction, he decided to bring to fruition a long-standing project. The idea is to write, with the eyes of a modern man, a new page in the history of Breton popular art. »
