Victorian Perpignan Garnet Bangle Bracelet In 18k Rose Gold, French Bangle

Victorian Perpignan garnet bangle bracelet in 18k rose gold. Bracelet formed of two hollow rose gold rods and centered with seven round garnets. The garnets are “Perpignan-cut", a rose-cut with a flat base. They have a beautiful raspberry-pink-red color, typical of Perpignan garnet jewelry. The garnets are mounted on paillon and set en clos. The setting is delicately decorated with triangular V-shaped figures on the edges, and the bezel bottoms are domed. The clasp is secured by an eight clasp. Antique rush bracelet, circa 1880, Southeastern France.
