Jean-Gabriel DOMERGUE – La Saison à Cannes – Journal des Etrangers. Large and beautiful original Art Deco drawing (on view: 440 x 310 mm), in pencil, oil pastel, watercolor and gouache, signed and dated 1924 lower right, framed under a mat and black and white striped frame.
It depicts an elegant woman walking her greyhound on the pier in Cannes.
This drawing is reproduced on the cover of the eponymous magazine, 1924-1925 season – No. 3 of December 20, 1924 (see reproduction of this cover in 4th photo, sources BnF Gallica).
A tear without loss in the upper part of the right margin, slightly sunned, good condition.
