Provencal Saliero In Louis XV Walnut, From The 18th Century

Very beautiful Provencal Saliero in curved walnut on three sides.
A real little miniature piece of furniture in excellent condition.
The front is curved and decorated with a bouquet of carved flowers as well as a beautiful scallop shell on the lower crosspiece revealing a large drawer.
The uprights are hollowed out in the mass and end with small shell feet.
The sides are curved and pegged.
It opens with a hatch on the top and the pediment ends with three original bobeches.
It was intended to be placed or hung to store salt and can be easily diverted.
good general condition, just a small piece of foot is missing at the back on 0.5 cm.
