China, Qing dynasty, early 19th century, very pretty finely carved statue representing Chao Kung Ming, the Taoist god of fortune in his military form, sitting on his tiger, with a flame emerging in front of him at the front of the base. Votive box, still closed, on the back of the statue (rare). Wood, with traces of the original lacquer. Height: 22 cm. The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand.
