Clock Gilded Bronze Watchmaker : Farret / Bronzier H.picard

Stamped on the mechanism of the clockmaker Farret in Paris, a clockmaker listed in the Tardy, dictionary of French clockmakers. Less common signature on the back facade of the bronzier "H. Picard" for Henri Picard, great bronzier and gilder of his time 1831-1890.

Clock of excellent manufacture in a remarkable state of conservation, bronze architecture covered with a very beautiful gold gilding. Elegant young woman accompanied by a dog, the facade richly worked with animated foliage and decorated with numerous decorations such as flowers, quivers, crowns, bows. In the center, the white enamel dial accompanied by golden hands underlined by a pearl outline.
