"Tanto Shin Shinto With Silver Koshirae En Suite"
Very beautiful tanto from the end of Edo (1865-1868) with koshirae in red lacquered wood and silver suite mounts representing the sea with rough waves. The kogai, the kozuka, the fuki kashira, the tsuka, the menuki, the tsuba and the habaki are en suite. The blade has no defects and has a very beautiful polish. The nagasa is 28.4 cm and the sori 0.4 cm. The tanto had a tokubetsu kicho certificate on June 17, 1970 but this was lost. A photo with the references exists despite everything. The dimensions are given for the koshirae
