Rectangular work box opening to a side drawer in veneer wood decorated with a garland of fruits and knotted ribbons, the top accommodating a circular psyche mirror in gilded bronze, with acanthus leaf base and glass surrounded by a frieze of water leaves; and a purple velvet cushion surrounded by a frieze of palmettes in gilded bronze. On four gilded bronze claw feet. 19th century (Dim.: 27 x 14 x 19 cm)
