"Vodaine - Untitled Composition Representing Three People In Deep Conversation. 1981."
VODAINE (Jean) - Untitled composition representing three people in deep conversation. Baslieux, Chez le peintre, 1981; 670/650 mm, Isorel panel, painting of small dots separated by black lines. Signed Vodaine. On the back of the panel is written: "For Antoine the second on the anniversary of the death of Louis XVI Bourbon family of which Charles X, Louis XIX, Henri IV, and the daughter of Louise XVI are buried in Slovenia, on the banks of the Izonzo (Soxa ditil), the other Tony". There is also a handwritten note BN Str. March 13, 1982. This panel was apparently exhibited in Strasbourg at the BN in 1982 then Jean Vodaine added this text in 1989 when selling it to a customer? Or did he write it down the day he finished this painting?
