In 1912, the 200th birthday of Frederick the Great (Fredericus Rex) was celebrated. Emperor Wilhelm II commissioned these glasses from the Josephinenhütte on this occasion.
Wine glass from the large Prussian service, in the style of the 18th century, around 1912. Heavy, colorless glass, partially gilded. Round base with notched star, faceted cut stem, stepped several times.
Solid conical bowl in the lower section with seven pierced air pearls, a raised round medallion on the front of the faceted wall with the gold monogram “FR” in relief between trophies with flags.
