"Eight Sheaf Back Chairs, Provence. "
This elegant set of eight country chairs are straw-topped, in walnut and beech, they are in good general condition and date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. One chair has lost a piece of the top that adorns the top of an upright and one of its legs has been broken and repaired, the straw-topped chairs are in satisfactory condition, but most certainly original, they show some signs of fatigue and one or two seats are a little more worn. Period late 18th century or early 19th century. Height 87 cm, seat height 45 cm, depth 41 cm, width 42 cm.
