"Edouard Marcel Sandoz Et Haviland, Very Rare Porcelain Bull-dog Candy Dish, 1916"
Superb and very rare statuette forming a box or candy box in Limoges porcelain, published by the Théodore Haviland factory and created by Edouard Marcel Sandoz (1881-1971). This is the Bull-dog model representing a female dog and her two puppies. Model created by Sandoz in March 1916, number 4 in the catalog. Published in two sizes, 17 cm and 20 cm with several colors. Here we have the 17 cm model in two colors. Blue signatures of Sandoz, so it is a period piece and not a reissue of the factory. Very good house condition.
