Fred Pailhès (born Alfred Henri Pailhès on November 22, 1902 in Le Havre and died on May 15, 1991 in the same city is a French painter known for his harbor landscapes and portraits. Born in 1902, Fred Pailhès began drawing at a very young age. He is known for his paintings, drawings and studies of harbor landscapes and seasides, notably Le Havre, Marseille and Cannes He is also renowned for his portraits of ordinary people, both vagabonds and customers of the bistros he visited He would draw and paint until his death in 1991
