Engraved ‘OIL TEMPERED’ above a lightning bolt.
Marked ‘U.S.N. LOUISVILLE SLUGGER SOFT BALL’.
Baseball bat brought by an American soldier on his arrival in France in 1943 during the Second World War and collected on liberation.
