In engraved and painted wood. On the cover an illustration after Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibine representing Tsar Saltan. In 1929 Bilibine made the illustrations for the novel "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" written by Alexander Pushkin in 1832.

Good condition, wear from use. Crack in the plywood of the wood underneath. Missing key, lock stuck in the closed position.
