This well-known expression of romantic lovers is one of the verses of the poem by Rosemonde Gérard to her husband Edmond Rostand.
It was made famous by Alphonse Augis, a jeweler from Lyon who in 1907 had the idea of creating a medal on which this verse was engraved.
This phrase has since become a very strong symbol.
