"Louis XVI Period Secretary."
Secretary cabinet opening with two drawers above the flap, three below; the fluted uprights are round in front, square in section at the back. In mahogany veneer on oak; the back is in oak, the drawer bottoms in elm, the locks recently. The leather was previously replaced. The piece of furniture has been re-varnished with a buffer. Louis XVI period. End of the eighteenth century.
