Boats in calm weather, oil on wood, dimensions 42 cm x 62 cm, with the frame 62 cm x 82 cm, attributed to Pieter de Zeelander, Holland mid-17th century. Dutch marine painter, he was born in Haarlem in 1620, in 1648 he left for Rome where he became a member of the bentvueghels, an association of Dutch and Flemish artists who resided in Rome.
