Magnificent and impressive pair of two-light wall sconces in gilded wood with Louis XVI style leaf.

Lush decoration carved on the musical theme with many instruments: violin, guitar, flute, clarinet, tambourine, bells, triangle as well as a score that completes the set. The elements are taken in an interlacing of oak and acanthus leaves. Each sconces are topped with a ribbon bow, typical of the Louis XVI style. Two finely decorated arms branch out from the center and end in elegant bobeches decorated with water leaves.

This very decorative and very beautiful pair (each sconces measures 104 cm in height) is executed with great finesse and has a superb finish with a bright golden patina.

This pair of sconces will be placed around a double door to a state room but it can also be presented to frame a large mirror or above a beautiful chest of drawers or a large fireplace.
