"18th Century Italian Walnut Library Steps Baroque Rocchetto Ladder"
Walnut Library Ladder from the 1700s with three steps and turned uprights, stable and solid structure. This antique 18th-century library ladder is hand-made of solid walnut wood, the three steps are decorated with shaped aprons , ornamental bands underneath the shelves, placed both on the front and on the sides between the spooled uprights. The ladder comes from a private collection in Lombardy, is in good condition with recent restorations, consistent with the eighteenth-century period; the steps have in fact been consolidated with added supports to support the weight.
