"Gall (19th-20th) Provençal Landscape With Argelas In Flower"
Here is a painting that smells of the scrubland and perfectly restores the light of Provence by an artist of Swiss origin but great specialist in the Mediterranean landscape Gall.The work is made on a wooden panel, it is offered in a magnificent 19th century ear frame which measures 50 cm by 62 cm and 34 cm by 45.5 cm for the panel alone.
It represents a landscape with flowering argelas, crowned with pines, in the background old buildings, certainly in the vicinity of Aix en Provence where the artist was a regular. In very good condition, it is signed lower right.
