Set of 6 beautiful caned chairs in beech richly carved with rockery, shell and foliage motifs, the feet with snail scrolls. The seats and backs are caned, they are covered with a cushion filled with green silk in the Louis XV style (double-sided, therefore reversible). Parisian work from the end of the Regency period or the beginning of the Louis XV period. Mid-18th century, around 1750. Beautiful model, beautiful proportions, bold and generous sculpture, not stamped, they are the work of a good master carpenter in seats, follower of Cresson. In excellent condition, the chairs have been cleaned, re-waxed, the caning is in very good condition (seat redone for 2 seats), the silk new. Width 47cm Seat height 45cm Backrest height 90cm
