Suzanne Eisendieck was born in Danzig (now Gdańsk in Poland) to Karl Eisendick and Anna Eisendick (née Klegus), both German. At the age of 12 in Danzig, Suzanne Eisendieck became one of the youngest students of the painter Fritz August Pfuhle. At the age of 21, she studied for three years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin in the class of Maximilian Klewer. While there, she took part in a group exhibition with over 1400 works of which only 9 were sold and 3 of them were her paintings. This success in Berlin later allowed her to go to Paris, where she settled in a "maid's room" in the Latin Quarter near the Place Saint-Michel and began painting there. There were continuing financial difficulties for Suzanne Eisendieck until a friend arranged for the gallery owner Mrs. Zak to visit her small studio. She immediately bought 6 of her paintings and exhibited them in her gallery, the Galerie Zak, Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés. They were greatly admired by all. This encouraged Mrs. Zak to organize the first exhibition of Suzanne Eisendieck's paintings, followed later by others in the Leicester Galleries in London. This was the end of difficulties for the young artist and the beginning of great success. Her artistic work was inspired by the French Impressionists and can be found in many private collections, mainly in America. Suzanne Eisendieck paints in a unique style with oil paint and sometimes pastels.
