"Pastoral Scene "
Nice pencil drawing representing a couple of shepherds crossing paths on a bridge while they accompany oxen (which curiously resemble Roman oxen) to pasture. In the background, a typically French church indicates a village. The drawing is surrounded by pen strokes and a green watercolor wash imitating a montage. Some pinholes are to be noted, on the right and at the top. It is sold unframed. The drawing alone measures 17.4x28.3 cm
