Bronze representing a musician signed by Adrien-Etienne Gaudez, bearing the mention "La chambre musicale d'Avignon à Mr Th. Thurner en 1888". Adrien-Etienne Gaudez is a sculptor from the Lyon region (1845-1902) with many statues exhibited in French and Canadian museums, notably the Musée d'Orsay. Born in 1833, Théodore Thurner is a famous Marseille composer of the 19th century with many renowned works to his credit.
