History of the Hanappier Family:
The Hanappier family is one of the great lines of Orléans goldsmiths, with at least fourteen masters listed since the 16th century.
Jacques Hanappier, mentioned as early as 1568, marks the beginnings of this dynasty. Several of his descendants, including Pierre and Antoine François Hanappier, gained recognition for their creations, even becoming judges-guards of their community.
The distinctive hallmark and exceptional quality of this spoon testify to the prestige associated with Hanappier silverwork. A unique piece, full of history and French artisanal tradition.
