"Low Bookcase In Walnut From The 19th Century. (328cm X 124cm)"
Important low walnut bookcase dating from the second half of the 19th century. It opens with four glass doors, a double door in the center and two doors on the sides. This piece of furniture is partitioned into three parts. We have two large shelves in the middle space, and two small shelves on each side, making six in all. These shelves are modular, they can be arranged at the desired height. Each of the side doors has its key. (the left key catches a little but works). The key to the double door is missing, it is a clover-shaped key. Its lock is two-point. Its dimensions are quite rare for this type of bookcase, it is very wide, low, and shallow (ideal for attics for example). The height remains significant for a low bookcase, (124cm). The more traditional height varies between 95cm and 110cm. This bookcase is in good condition, note its wear and tear over time which does not detract from its charm. Three shelves are later. Dimensions: 328cm wide, 124cm high, 40cm deep.
