Pair of Scottish percussion pistols, 19th century, circa 1830 - 1850. One-piece steel frame forming a square box, decorated with a ribbon frieze engraved around the perimeter and continuing towards the rear with 2 bands. The upper one forming a rounded and very long frame tail decorated with a ribbon frieze engraved around the perimeter and screwed onto the handle with a screw. Marked "B & C" punch, on the edge of the box on the right side at the height of the barrel (see photo). Burr walnut grip with ear at the back of the box, flared bottom of the grip and engraved opening metal cap to hide the primer reserve. Right trigger under rounded and engraved trigger guard. Hammer offset to the right with checkered crest and zoomorphic type (dog's head). Smooth interior octagonal Damascus barrel. "V" sight close to the hammer. Single-action percussion lock mounted in the trunk. Functional mechanism on both pistols.
