Full green morocco binding of the time, ribbed spine, title engraved in gilt letters and gilt fillet along the spine. Covers with gilt fillets slightly rubbed with use, headcaps present and solid, upper joints split but very solid: easy handling of the work.

Collated complete: Title page + Warning (2p.) + Memoir on the life of the author (13p.) + Celtic etymologies (14p.) + Table (1p) + 476 p. + Privilege (4p.) Clean interior, rare scattered and discreet foxing due to time.
Bookplate “ Ex-libris Presb. F. VALLÉE”, work that belonged to Abbé François Vallée (1860-1949), great legislator of the Breton language ¹.
