"Netsuke - Samurai With Fan And Oni - Ivory - Toun - Meiji"
Ivory netsuke depicting a seated samurai in armor. The latter holds an unfolded fan in his right hand, and is accompanied by a small oni in his left. Signed in a cartouche "Toun" under the base.Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912).
Very good condition.
Light and fine patina, visible in particular on the back of the warrior on his armor and his weapon.
