"Small Framed Painting From The 1930s: "oil On Cardboard" View From My Window", Naïve School Signed"
Charming little painting in its patinated gilded frame from the "1930s", representing a generous window opening seen from the inside, the vertical upright in the center of the painting, on the stone and brick facades through the transparent curtains petticoats with tiebacks. On the left we can see the masonry chimney flue with its terracotta pots, a gable of protruding stones (even in the painter's material), a Mansard roof and cheninée above the "velux" and on the right a sober facade in pink brick and facing with the two windows facing each other, all playing with the translucency of the fine veiling under a white sun.. View from my street quite simply .... This small Work full of nostalgia is not without appeal by the soft atmosphere which emerges from it. Given the touch we immediately think of a naive painter, who knew how to transmit through his Work; a blissful, peaceful universe. Signed lower right G. Cambouny?. A beautiful little piece not devoid of charm in good condition
