[HUGON-DAUBAN, Émile]. View of the Men-Brial lighthouse. Gouache. 27.5 x 34.6 cm, under a marie-louise (glued) of 47.7 x 62.3 cm. The Men-Brial lighthouse is located on the island of Sein. It was built in the first decade of the 20th century. The attribution to Émile Hugon-d'Auban and the dating around 1927 are due to a similar gouache that we had, representing a view of Douarnenez, which was signed and dated. Émile Hugon-Dauban, often called Émile Hugon, was a French painter, illustrator, press cartoonist and poster artist, active from the late 1920s. Ref. EB-(JD)
