Beautiful decorative dish in fine, hard-paste earthenware from Longchamp representing a very pretty floral decoration. The edge of our dish is decorated with a blue combed border in the style of "wolf teeth". It bears under its reverse the brand "longchamp terre de fer" hollowed out in the pâytte. These "terre de fer" earthenwares had the particularity of having a very white paste which gave them the appearance of porcelain. They were developed from 1860.
