"Louis XVI "financière" Candlesticks "
Pair of candlesticks called "à la financier" from the 19th century in Louis XVI style in silver-plated bronze by the goldsmith Victor Saclier. Resting on a truncated cone base with foliage decoration topped with a fluted column and asparagus tips decorated on both sides with a medallion surrounded by a knotted ribbon, the bobeches are chiseled with crossed rings and ribbons. Each candlestick bears the goldsmith's mark Victor Saglier (1809-1894). In very good condition of conservation and silvering!
