Beautiful ornamentation of finely chiseled gilded bronze.
Work of the prestigious Durand house in Paris.
rédéric-Louis Durand is none other than the son of Gervais-Maximilien Durand, one of the greatest Parisian cabinetmakers of the 19th century. Upon his death in 1920, he bequeathed his business to his son Frédéric-Louis who would operate it until 1933, perpetuating the mastery and excellence of his father. Our piece of furniture, due to its signature, therefore corresponds to a production that can be dated between 1920 and 1933.
Perfect condition, restored by our workshop with a natural varnish finish using a tampon (french polish).
