Oil on wooden panel dated and dedicated on the back 45*33 without frame 59*46 with frame Emile Bou (El Affroun 1908 - L'Union 1989) attended classes at the Beaux-Arts in Algiers and began to produce posters and theater sets. He established himself as a painter from 1930, with landscapes, seascapes and still lifes. He took part in numerous exhibitions: Society of Saharan and Orientalist Artists, Union of Artists of North Africa as well as those of French Africa, in Oran, Marrakech, Tunis, Monaco, Bordeaux...
