Oil on wooden panel dated and dedicated on the back 45*33 without frame 59*46 with frame Emile Bou (El Affroun 1908 - L'Union 1989) attended classes at the Beaux-Arts in Algiers and began to produce posters and theater sets. He established himself as a painter from 1930, with landscapes, seascapes and still lifes. He took part in numerous exhibitions: Society of Saharan and Orientalist Artists, Union of Artists of North Africa as well as those of French Africa, in Oran, Marrakech, Tunis, Monaco, Bordeaux... He also exhibited in galleries in Algiers Several of his works can be admired at the Algiers Museum: landscapes, the tugboat, Kouba... panorama of the Bay of Algiers
