Pair Of Dukatenmacher Porcelain Subjects 19th Century Meissen

Sold as a pair: unusual porcelain subjects: one from Meissen and the other to be determined. These figures come from popular German folklore: this man with his trousers down pooping a gold coin was supposed to bring good luck and prosperity.
They are known as: Dukatenschisser ‘the coin pooper’ or, more elegantly, Dukatenmacher ‘the coin maker’.
Here, as is often the case, the gold coin is missing from each of the figures, which in no way detracts from the rarity of the subject.

Condition: as is :
gold coin missing from the buttocks of each subject
1 small piece missing from the hat of the figure in the blue waistcoat
1 finger missing from the figure in the pink waistcoat
