Very beautiful painting, from the beginning of the 20th century, representing a sled speeding through a snowy landscape.
The style is very close to that of the Russian painter Alexei Stepanov. On the top of the frame, in the middle, we see an inscription. It is difficult to read, but it could correspond to "Stepanov". See photos.
The old yellowed varnish has been removed. The painting is in excellent condition.
