The base is relieved by a shelf acting as a spacer. The part that accommodates the two drawers is scalloped on its four sides. The two drawers with their chiseled gilt bronze lock entries have retained their functional period locks with their original key. A small leather-covered pull tab serves as a reading light! It is housed under the griotte marble top surrounded by an openwork gilt bronze gallery. This living room table is marquetry on all four sides. The whole is in excellent condition!
