Malay half-sword, known as KlewangBorneo, 19th century
Steel, horn, silver
Length: 64cm - Blade length: 46.5cm
Strong, broad-backed, single-edged, slightly curved blade.
Two register handle. The first is in wood covered with silver leaf. The second is in carved horn featuring a zoomorphic head in foliage.
Good condition.
