Meissen porcelain figure with polychrome and gold decoration of a dancing Harlequin, holding a tankard in his hand bearing the inscription ZM 1738 and crossed swords, a reference to the year of the arrival of a group of artists from the Commedia dell'arte in Dresden and the artistic name of the actor playing Harlequin, Zanni Müller (Joseph Ferdinand Müller). Model created by Johann Joachim Kaendler around 1764. Marked with blue crossed swords and numbered 64551. Listed in the Meissen - Bergmann catalog
