Wood, Glass And Brass Trolley In Art Deco Style - 1950s, Italy

A trolley dating from around the 1950s, measuring 48x60x42 cm.
The structure is characterised by curved wooden legs with a dark finish, embellished with golden details. The upper and lower surfaces are made of transparent glass and offer a sense of lightness and modernity that contrasts with the dark colour of the wood.
The complete design combines clean, symmetrical lines typical of the Art Deco style, characterised by the use of iconic materials such as aluminium, stainless steel and wood, all accompanied by soft lines, precise geometries, dark colours and sharp contrasts.
The state of preservation is good and a surface cleaning has been carried out. There are defects on the surface of the wood due to age and use, and the two glass shelves are in good condition.
